Our aim is to decrease disparities in health, education, economic development, housing, and increase equity in all facets. Prenatal Care (PNCC)


Live Well, Be Well PNCC provides assistance to expectant mothers who may experience high-risk pregnancies.  Mothers are monitored with regular home visits, directed to needed services such as education, medical appointments, WIC, housing, employment, referrals, etc.  The goal of PNCC is for mothers to be well established and equipped with baby items and training before their babies arrive.


A Better Us Support Group-2/8/23 thru 5/26/23


The goal of A Better Us Support Group is to offer AODA/Mental Illness support along with community referrals to mothers. The ultimate goal of the support group is to reduce infant mortality, help mother’s combat social challenges, and gain freedom. The  Support Groups are facilitated by Our Daily Bread's team . Group meets every 2nd & 4th Thursday, 12pm-1pm and 6pm-7pm. At the present time, the groups are virtual.  For more information, please call Monifa at: 414-336-2122 

The 4th Thursday of every month is Community Connection Day. Community Leaders will attend the group and enhance ladies knowledge of their program service. Every participator's name will enter into a raffle for a gift with only two winners. (Restrictions applied)

Loving Me & Others


ODB has launched another support group for ladies, Loving Me & Others in the Milwaukee Public School System. Loving Me & Others is a support group that meets every Tuesday at Barack Obama - SCTE , 11am- 2pm. The group aims to focus on self-care/self-love, increase healthy relationships, increase self-esteem/self-worth, learn innovative strategies combat peer pressure, and how to say NO to Substance. The target populations for Loving Me & Others are young ladies in grades: 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th.  High School students will also perform their internship hours and assist with group activities.   ODB will oversee the group while Mommy's Beautiful Sunrise will provide assistance as well.  Young ladies will receive gifts and incentives for attending the group.  Loving Me & Others is sponsored by: RISEDrugFreeMKE.


Childcare Coordination (CCC)


Live Well, Be Well CCC program provides on-going community referrals and resources after birth of baby. Theses referrals and resources consist of: clothing, employment, housing, food, health, social groups, social events, and much more. Our Community Health Workers make regular home visits to ensure that mother and baby are well, have the needed resources to live a healthy lifestyle.
