Our Daily Bread Community Outreach Center has been a key part of my development. I have been a part of Our Daily Bread since I was 10 years old.
I have enjoyed being connected to leaders like Mrs. Lea Lewis who greatly impacts many people in the community. Currently, I serve as a youth advocate on the board. I am extremely honored to help, work with, and build up the youth in the city of Milwaukee. It has been a great pleasure to be involved and connected with Our Daily Bread Community Outreach Center. I enjoy meeting with fellow board members to collaborate. As I continue to serve with Our Daily Bread, it is my hope that continue to impact the youth in the inner city of Milwaukee......

When I met Ms. Lea from Our Daily Bread, it was truly a blessing because I have no family or siblings. Ms. Lea is always there when I have questions and need support. Overall, Our Daily Bread has truly taken a huge weight off my shoulders with the help on diapers, clothing, etc. There is nothing better than knowing that I am not alone, being a single mom I have an amazing system for me and my children.

ODB always amplified the message that education is key. I remember spending hours after school completing homework and feeling supported and challenged to learn new organizational and administrative skills. I love learning and my time with ODB affirmed that as a worthwhile passion to follow. I was the first in my immediate family to earn a bachelor's degree and that feels like paying it forward.
